Default Just got my new rotors and ceramic pads

I ordered a set of rotors and pads from Brakeperformance.com. They came in quickly and I think they look great. I was referred to them by another member on this forum. (thanks btw). The rotors have a lifetime warranty against cracking AND warping. The most incredible thing is that the entire kit was barley $534.00 with the premium rotors and ceramic pads. Can't beat that!

Just a heads up that we have brake options that don't include getting a brake kit for 5k or getting juiced for the parts at the dealership. I will let you guys know how they are when they get installed, but the member who referred me to them seemed to like them

I have them on my LS460. I just got the car back from the mechanic and he said after more than 25,000 miles I still got 60% on the pads, and the rotors are like new.

When you install them make sure you check the marks engraved on each rotor. They'll tell you which is front and which back and which is left and which is right. Installing them the wrong direction will cause extreme noise (like what happened to me).

After the installation be easy on them for the 1st 1k miles. You'll hear what's like Grrrrr squawking (especially upon coming to complete stopping) then it'll gradually disappear.

I am still surprised to see that they guarantee that the rotors will not crack or warp.

One year later, are you still happy with these rotors?

Looking at replacing my fronts.

22 months later, I can't be happier (never changed or resurfaced the rotors/pads).
