Default Lowering Air Ride on LS 460L - Need Advice

Hey everyone,

Getting new Rims tomorrow..

Looking for some opinions on how to drop an LS 460L with Air Ride. I really do not want to spend 1200 bucks on the Prestigious Society module. What options do I have to just drop it a little without ruining the ride and performance?

I heard of moving the sensors, is this best and most affordable solution?

Appreciate any insight!

P.S. - I have air ride because i have the "Raise Height" button.

hi brad, you can cop the same module as prestigious society sells for much less -- you need a data systems asc680l with harness h-087g if i'm not mistaken. you can find shops selling these units on rakuten and yahoo japan auctions (of course, you will have to deal with the hassle of delivery from japan) -- i think carson lexus parts may carry them also. alternatively, you can find these data systems/prestigious society units secondhand for much cheaper than the original price.

alternatively, you can use something like skipper or branew's lowering links, which will run you about ~$300. you have less control with this setup, though, and changing ride height requires you to actually get out of the car.

you can always check fleabay or the classifieds in this forum for a datasystem. I found mines on here for 500 shipped and I saw one on fleabay for 750 a few days ago. The skipper links are nice as well if you intend on keeping it the same height all the time because there is no adjustment on the fly.

Where do I find information on this skipper? I am not looking to change it very much. I just want to bring it down a little to make it sit better on the rims. I am too old now to "slam" it, those days are officially over for me. My kids would make fun of me.

brad, here's a link to discussion about the data systems controller vs. lowering links:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ol-module.html

and here is an ebay link to the above mentioned product:

good luck!
