Default Pre-Collision System (PCS) Malfunction

Has anyone had a problem with the 2007 LS 460L Pre-Collision System? My warning light came on yesterday and the Cruise Control is disabled due to the problem with navigation radar.

Could there be debris on the front sensors or anything like that? summer is here and the big bugs are out!!

I haven't had any problem with mine. The system does shut off if the rain gets too heavy.

What does the warning light read?

Message reads "Check PCS System". The Cruise Control message is "Have Cruise Control Checked by Dealer.

I received a message before to "Check PCS Sensor" last week before the system shut down.

I've never had that message.

Please let me know what the dealer says. I would be interested in knowing what the problem is with the system.

Would you mind telling us how much you paid for the PCS option when you bought the car?

I'm interested to know the total ownership cost of such a feature.

I have the same problem with my 2007 LS460. What the warning light usually come off after a while or when the car restarted. I was wondering if the radar need replaced as well..?
