I think they make bike racks for the car that can be mounted to the rear of the car. I also thought you were pulling our legs. I am a "rim-polishing " geek though. LOL There is an answer to this problem but I am pretty sure it will not entail an RX roof rack

I guess I dont understand why would you get that car instead of the Lex truck, but anyway the bike rack or trailer is the answer.

It is nice to see everyone still offering helpful suggestions, even after warp posted his reply. As a whole I find the group has good humor and doesn't take themselves too serious, so I felt warp's remark was a bit out of line considering the lack of detail he offered up front. I now know how to add to my "ignore list" so I won't make the mistake of offering advice to him in the future.

I've had roof racks on several of my past cars (both Thule and Yakima), and currently have a Yakima for my Land Cruiser for loading a sailboard and bikes, but can't say I've ever considered putting one on my Lexus. I guess if it was my only vehicle I would go with the custom hitch like you did. Thanks for sharing the pictures off that link. Made me cringe a bit seeing the bumper torn off, but the end result looks nice.

Another (easier) way is to clicking on their name to the left of their post, select "View Public Profile", then from the "User Lists" menu within their profile, select "Add to Ignore List".
