I bought my 2007 LS460 from Lexus of Glendale, California and have been having it serviced at the Lexus of Oxnard because we live in the Thousand Oaks area.

Can anyone recommend the best Lexus dealer who has the most experience working on the valve spring replacement? I’d appreciate the dealers name and the person to contact.

I don’t mind traveling to a Lexus dealer between Glendale and Oxnard to have this done. Thank you! Marty

i go to keyes lexus, and i live in oc

i always go to bill harvard. the master tech is my friend and he's the only one i allow to touch my car

and yes, he did the recall on my gs350

Thanks for the info, Is it the keyes lexus in van nuys? Did you have a LS460 done there and has Bill done many of the VSR.

yes, the one in van nuys. i don't have my ls460l anymore, but still have my gs350. i talked to my friend and he said he has worked on quite a few cars. now how many of them are the 460 specifically, i don't know. it never hurts to call and talk to bill about it

Thanks for taking time to respond. I need to take my LS460 in for the VSR. With all the Valve Spring Replacements jobs done in Southern California I was hoping to hear from other LS460 owners, whether or not they have a VSR problem and which Dealers in south california area they would recommend.

If you want to travel further East, then I would recommend Crown in Ontario. JR is the service manager and mine is running better than when I took it in, they did a fabulous job. Too far from Thousand Oaks however... your looking at 1.5 hours from TO to Ontario :-)

Mine was done at Desert Lexus in Palm Springs before I bought the car. Too far east for you though.

Rominl, do you know how the service is at Keyes Van Nuys in general? I read some negative comments about them on the web somewhere so I was planning to try Valencia Lexus for service. Both are about equal distance from me.

to be honest, i think every dealership will have goods and bads, it's really up to your SA and techs. i have seen both sides for longo, westminster, tustin, newport, etc... that's exactly why when i go to keyes, i only ask for my SA and no one else.

but if you ask me about my SA and the service, it's been nothing but fabulous. no complaint here

Why don't you go to Thousand Oaks Lexus? I use Ianthe Teeters and she has been extemely helpful and willing to he help. I have used other but none compare.

I wasn't impress with the way they treat me the two times I was there. Plus I don't know if they done many VSR. Does anyone have any positive/negative feedback on Thousand Oaks Lexus.
