Default Need body kit advice

Hello! This is my first post, I just bought a Black 2010 LS 460 short body. I already ordered 20" Vossen VVS-CV1's in the black matte finish and am considering which body kit to add.

I am looking for a conservative styled body kit, basically what I would consider to be the way a stock car SHOULD look, not the 60 yr old man style of the factory moldings.

I have seen a few kits I like such as Tom's more conservative kit

Also this one I have seen on ebay, has anyone had any experience with either of these kits?

Also I like this body kit as well:

Thanks in advance for any tips or assistance!

Thanks for the heads up on the knock off.

Are there any other kits that you know of that are somewhat conservative like these that I have listed here?

I should have the wheels on Thur or Friday, will post picks then.

hard to say what your definition of conservative is, i sort of think wald is in the middle of the pack. but here are few more choices

Henry: Do you think a side skirt is necessary? On some of the kit with side skirt, I can't really tell if there is one. The after market looks some similiar to the stock. Plus, the stock looks good as is.

wow, thanks man! I just went through the whole list you gave me and I had only seen a few of the more common and expensive kits.

I think I am going to choose between the Tom's and this one here:

I think you are right about the side skirts. On the conservative kits I cant tell anything is different on the side skirts. Now I am considering the JP Sports kit also, it is really nice looking. I will prob just go with a front and rear bumper and choose the trunk spoiler I like best. I am looking for a think one like in the pic above but I want it on an upright angle, not almost horizontal to the trunk like the one ricercato one above.

OK, the final verdict is between Tom's and JP Sports body kit found here:

Does anyone know where to get the best price on the JP Sports kit? Or do I just order direct from the manufacturer in Japan?

on those conservative kits, imho sides are more "optional", coz' the stock sides are quick thick and you can probably get away with it

but with kits like wald, then sides are much needed already

on any jdm kits, you better find an importer here in the US to get the kit for you. directly talking to japan (unless you have connection there) is going to be painful

Hello~ Welcome to the club.

I would invest a bit more on the wheels since you won't lose much on a set of good wheels when reselling it. No comment on Vossens from me..

The body-kit is really up to your personal preference. I personally like to mismatch parts from different manufacturers because I always see the like and dislike bodykit parts.

Since you bring up the H-Style kit here... it has my favorit spoiler (truck hood). To me it is an old-school beauty piece, but I know many doesnt like the oversize & bulky look.

Good luck with your shopping,
