Lol! An 80k dollar car that has Honda Accord reliability? I love it.
And let me just say that as inexpensive to own and maintain an Accord, an Accord with 200k would be on it's second water pump and timing belt. I would be on my second set of control arms...third set of tie rods...and replaced at least 4 ball joints. Also I would have replaced an axle and at least one wheel bearing. You can also throw in a couple o2 sensors, four struts, valve cover gaskets, a couple evap solenoids, an egr valve, a vtec sensor or two and a few ***** or switches inside. And those are great cars, believe me.

It's things like electrical problems, transmission problems, engine problems, etc, that I don't want to deal with. My LS - with 92,000 miles - does not burn one drop of oil in 5k miles. That's ridiculous. I've never had a car capable of that (although it will burn a 1/2 quart at 5k when I use mobil 1...TGMO for some reason doesn't burn in my car).
I've got to say I'm ready to pile on the miles after reading this thread.

FWIW, I bought my Lexus' water pump for 55 bucks and replaced it in about an hour. Try that for a lot of other cars out there.

Car has been fantastic! The only things I've had to replace to date is a wheel bearing and some control arms up front (all those parts were replaced at 114,000 miles). Knock on wood I'll make it to 160,000 with minimal repairs.
I love high mileage stories.
