Default Mine was fixed by a second opinion

The diagnosis showed a specific error message code (C1289 Current Vgrs control system malfunction) which I've yet to have anyone explain, so that I can fix the specific problem.
07 ls460, first dealer was unable to clear the fault code and said that the rack and other bits needed replacement. Second dealer read the fault code reset it and there have been no faults for the last 5 months

My 2007 460L did the same thing. It drove fine. Steering wheel was centered. I took it to the Toyota dealer where I purchased it. They performed an electronic steering calibration saying "the pin that sets it did not line up right". $60.11
