Anyone buy wheels from EBAY before? Frankly, I never purchased anything that large or that expensive. Just curious if anyone has had any luck with buying wheels from EBAY and your overall experience?

I ordered some LS600 OEM 19" 7 spokes from ebay last week. Should be delivered next week. I actually just bought 3 so in looking for a 4th but I got a killer deal on the 3. Seems pretty painless. The prices on eBay are all over the place. Some of these people are asking crazy money for OEM wheels.

But there are plenty of shops in LA that specialize in just selling used OEM wheels. One of them I called has the wheel I bought for $300 plus tax for each wheel. I might just pick up the 4th from there if I can't find it substantially less on eBay.

I bought a set of used oem 18's on ebay and would receive them next week.
I'll let you know how it went afterward.

Happy hunting!

Here are the latest wheels I'm looking at. HRE flow-form in IPA, 19x8.5 30 mm offset all around.

What do you think?

What really makes me nervous is that I don't plan on lowering the car and will it look funny on an unaltered car? I know sydoostic's 20s look good unaltered, but what about 19s?

Actually, the finishes are limited. They are in fact not offering all of the forged finishes on their flow-form after all. They don't offer that dart tint clear or titanium finish that looks really nice in these flow-forms, nor that satin bronze, just this IPA and some blacks, liquid silver and a few others, but no where near the palate that is offered on their forge line.

If you're just going to do 19s and leave the suspension alone, I would just do OEM 19s.

I agree with a guy I've never heard of before named Steve and say go with the 19"s, my 2014 F-Sport feels just like my 2004 UL on air so I believe technology has improved it to the point where Lexus has made the F sportier while retaining the comfort. I was pleasantly surprised.

Here are pictures of those HREs on 19s in liquid silver. Just not feeling it after seeing those.

Here are pictures of BBS 20s in a dark silver (which I really like). Unfortunately, they don't offer these in 19s, just 20.

They suggest staggered (see front axle only), although I would prefer the same all around. 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 respectively. Any issues with going 20x8.5 all around?

Sorry, this is difficult for me. I want to get it right and yes the time is correct on that picture. I go to work extremely early.

That looks better than I thought they would...but I'd still go OEM.

Which one looks better? The HRE or BBS?

I definitely like the BBS better but unless you're getting a hook up $4k for a new set makes no sense when you can find OEM 19" forged for half that price. I don't think $2k is worth it.

And definitely no issues going 20"x8.5" all around.

I have a set of 20's, staggered and love how it looks....some do not. See my sig pic. I think I'm on 8.5 front and 9.5 rear

For those that commented on keeping the wheels stock, I'm of the mindset that, aftermarket wheels make the car "mine". It sets it apart visually from any other LS that is out there. The fancy shoes that set you apart from any other guy in a nice suit.

Oh I agree with making it mine, my hope is that there aren't many F-Sports on the island so I can continue to stand out from the rest

If not then it's off to the store for a set of new shoes!

Yes I have. In fact I just purchased a set of four 18 inch wheels for my son's Subaru. Got them in 4 days and free shipping too. I do most of my shopping on Ebay now. Never been screwed over and always a great experience. I've even bought a 1500 dollar generator several years back. I probably shop Ebay once per week......everything from brakes, shocks, radiators, water pumps, etc.
