yes or no on these wheels and 19 or 20

Syd's White LS above with 20" wheels is impressive. I would be concerned what happens to the ride quality, though. Our 2014 LS has the "stock" 18s and rides like a dream (even on the OEM Bridgestone's).
Good luck on your quest and selection and we all look forward to your update.....

If you like 19s...I'd get the OEM 19s. There are four options:
F Sport:
F Sport Crafted:
Non F 19 Option 1:
Non F 19 Option 2:
These would give you a better ride than 20s, it would keep the stock look. You could go drive a non air SWB LS on these 19s and make sure you were okay with the ride...

Yeah, it's funny you mention that as I honestly wouldn't mind OEM 19s.
Man I checked brand new prices and of course, they are through the roof.
The forged 19s on the F-Sport, get this, $1850 each, lol. I would rather buy HREs and save money.
Even the non-forged F-Sport was ludicrous.
I've been searching EBay without much luck other than a black-out pair.

Look on eBay, genuine 19s are all over eBay, even with tires that people have taken off for new wheels. Just gotta wait for them to come up.
Check out this site, they have the OEM 19s for $325 a wheel:
http://www.stockwheels.com/c-8788-ri...180-5202-5293-
They will even buy your 18s. If you search for OEM Wheels you'll find many companies that sell OEM take off wheels.
Here's the option 2 19s on eBay, $1,750 for the whole set with tires:

Yeah all of those stock 19s would probably suit me just fine. Just kind of leery purchasing them second-hand.
However, I am actively looking at the secondary market, and if something pops up locally that I can look at first-hand, I may consider that, assuming I haven't already purchased something new elsewhere.

I wouldn't be worried about purchasing them second hand. Lots of people do exactly what you are doing and buy aftermarket rims when the car is new, and their OEM rims are sold like this. Most of these companies are in CA, so depending on where you are you might just be able to buy something in person

Regardless, though, I'll definitely be getting those Pirellis. I know earlier I thought it was nuts to junk new tires, but it didn't take long to get an itch for new wheels.
One thing, though, about our full-size spare, do I need to buy five or can I just use that 18 inch wheel in the event of a flat, funny looking or not?

The difference is huge! The new wheels are the best time to do that.
I would just leave the spare. if you get the OEM 19s the wheels will be the same diameter for sure.

I am one of the few thinking of going the opposite way: -1
Just got my 2012 LS with stock 5-spoke 19's and new goodyear tyres, and considering swapping them for OEM 18's!
