And why exactly would you want street racer 8000k HID's in an LS? You are reducing your light output by going from ~4300k to 8000k. It cheapens the look of the car and make no sense. The highest you would want to go is 6000k. 4300k is just fine and also maintains the factory warranty.

I have not had to change the bulbs in my LS yet, I did in my GS and it was pretty straight forward, the LS I understand is a bit more challenging. I am curious if you had to pull the inner wheel liner? It shows that as the method in the service manual.
When I do replace them I will only use genuine 4300k bulbs from Philips or Osram as they will give me the best quality light for the longest period of time, the E-Bay market is flooded with bulbs in the 6k,8k and 10k range, but your getting less usable light, they just look cooler. I think Lexus engineers got it right when they put in the one they did.

I have a new set of fog lights not HID and a new set of 6000K LED's for the little corner bulbs.
It looks like I have to do a lot of work to get those LED's in as the entire engine compartment is enclosed.
Anybody have any recommendations. The wheel shop my car was at yesterday wanted to charge me $120 to install them. I told them no.
By the way my car has made its transformation! My detail guy is here right now shining her up. I will post pics in a few hours!
