Default Got my Vossen 22's

...and it finally stopped raining for the first time in 2010, so here are a couple of pics of my dirty car with dirty wheels - Vossen VVS0083 in black machined.

I love them, finally got wheels I like after 2 years of searching and testing 5 different kinds that didnt fit. These are beautiful and are a perfect fit, and relatively affordable too.

I know you probably think I should lower the car, but I'm not going to! Just enjoy the pictures or use them to research your next wheel purchase - these are the first I have seen on a black stock-height SWB LS460, and I am sure someone can benefit.

So without further adudes- here are the pics!

Very nice choice. Looks great on your LS460. What size tires did you go with?

I think the wheels are nice and look great. My preference would be to do a subtle drop of the car but hey thats why we all have our own opinions. Still look great!!!

Congrats!

Kooks good. Looks like it can get away with not being lowered. I would still drop it an inch bit looks good as is.

I just cant see dropping it, since the ride is still so smooth with the stock suspension and we have such crappy streets here in Oregon. Plus where I tend to drive there are many poorly designed transitions (like driveway aprons, hilly street intersections, etc) that I already sometimes scrape as it is and any lower would cause major problems.
Also I am 6'5" tall, and I already have a bad back that aches every time I crouch to get into the car, it just CANT be any lower...

I tried to get a rear shot so you could see the stance of the tires, but they didnt come out- I will get more pictures once I wash the car and there is some sun- but it definitely looks way more agressive from the rear. I saw a LS with my same previous stock wheels and it looks like a totally different car now that I have the hot stuff - these wheels really make the car look much better.

Size is:255/30 front and 285/25 rear

Thanks for the nice comments!

Not trying to talk you into it but I don't see how a 1 inch drop would cause more of a problem with any of the situastions you mentioned. Only slammed cars become problematic. Both of my cars are gs but I have none of those issues with the Tanabe springs. The only problem is very tall bump or parking stops.

nice ride but I think a drop would set it off. With an LS I can understand not wanting to drop it .
