If the stock brakes are already stopping at 113 feet from 60mph (Autoweek), how much better are Brembos going to perform for a car that heavy? Some sites are reporting 118 feet for the Brembo equipped LS. That 113 feet runs contrary to many other reviews, so I'm not sure who to believe. I'll say this though, whenever I've had to clamp the brakes in a hurry at low speeds, they have brought the car to a halt with a thud - and not a chirp out of the tires. With 30,000 miles on the odometer, the brakes have not developed any fade or detectable runout. Strange that Lexus would put fancy 6-piston Brembos and omit cross-drilling or even slotting the rotors...

with that said, some bbk does reduce stopping distance. people put isf brakes on their is250/350 and the stopping distance is greatly reduced. my sc430 with stoptech brakes were insane as well, totally had to relearn how to brake
and yeah, i personally think it's a fail when they put on brembo brakes on the car but with blank rotors?! that's kind of silly... i can understand one piece rotors to save cost, but blank....

Thanks for the pics Henry. Wow nothing special about the brakes I at least thought they would have "Brembo" on the calipers and some cross drilled rotors. What a bummer!!

LOL.. they do.
Endless specially made a 8pot/front for 460/600. The 8pot front is an option but there is also the standard 6/4 kit.
AFAIK, the price is scary because us money weight much less than before.
