Have to agree with everyone about the grille on the 600, not too crazy about it. I do understand Lexus wanting to differentiate the hybrid, though.

I have noticed some styling cue trades between the LS and the BMW 750 in the last couple of years. Especially from the rear 3/4 view. Both are handsome designs IMHO.

I must say that the old and more contoured tail lights look better. The new one totally shouts South East Asian Camry "Luxury Edition", it is basically the inverted version of the Camry's tail lights. I feel that the hybrid's front bumper and grille looks extremely horrendous but the 460's look pretty descent.

Looks pretty similar to the old 460 to my aging eyes. One thing, they need to get rid of a big problem in the new model. If I were shopping for a 2010, I'd want to have the steering wheel on the left side.

I find it interesting that Toyota did not move the fuel filler door to the driver's side in the RH Steering models. So in Japan then, the fuel filler is on the passenger's side, the reverse of what I hate about German cars, that the filler door is not on "my side" here in the U.S..

Is it certain that this is the 2010 model?? Not really amused with the changes. Didn't like the new interior dash at all. It looks a bit like the GS dash.

Lexus made it quite painful for me to go through the adjusting process :'(

I don't like the new changes at all. And the LS600hL? Well, I don't know what went wrong...

I'm taking solace in all this... I'm in love with my current Gen LS460. Revolutionary model shifts make me (and you I assume too) jealous and desiring of an upgrade. Now there's no envy, at all, whatsoever. Hooray!

I really like the rear screen attached to the front center console. I have been designing a box to install in the rear for entertainment and this one is just what I am looking for. The interior changes are nice, however, I did not like the instrument cluster. I am going to be installing a night vision infrared camera in the front grill behind the lexus emblem and view it on the nav screen. I think it will look much better that way. I like the smart beam and lane keep assist options.

the exterior mods and changes on the LS does not look too appealing to me personally. I like the way it looks now. The rear looks like a toyota camry for some reason and the front like an avalon :P ....thats my opinion but thanks for sharing the info.

I agree, not much incentive to trade for the facelifted one, particularly if you have a 600hL ...

Default The Gauges

I see four gauges on the two sides of the speedometer. On the left are the tach and engine temp. On the right I can identify the fuel gauge but what is the fourth one?

Overall I think that the regular LS460 looks classy. But I am sure the others will gradually grow on us - including the 600h.

Is there any change to the HP of the vehicles? Anyone good at translating the Japanese text?
