Default Color Temperature of LED headlamps on LS?

the LS with LED headlamps, what is the color temperature in Kelvin? HID is 4300K. just wondering what the "K" is for LED headlamps.

I read somewhere that they were around 6000K but I could be wrong. LED uses less wattage than HID but they appear to be brighter.

Not necessarily. There are a ton of additional factors (physics stuff) that will determine the appearance of the light. Color temperature only defines the hue of the light that will be seen. Check out this chart http://www.3drender.com/glossary/colortemp.htm.

Though the color of the discharged light may be the same the radiance may not necessarily match therefore making them look much different. Two different technologies.

darn it. so basically in order to match led headlamps, you would need to get led kit? ok, this gets more interesting...
