If I compare what I see at the MB action and what I see at a dealer - the price between wholesale and retail (asking) is about $5-$7 grand.
I wanna know the same math for Lexus.

Again, thanks for your help.
As I understood, the cost of the LS or S from Manheim will be around $45K and I'm talking about car with no more than 35K miles on it, which is still on factory warranty.
I clearly see that S - loses value more than LS . MSRP about $90K after 2,5 years 50%). it may be because not as many LS's as S's.

I think the demand is significantly higher for the S though... This would have a balancing effect wouldn't it?

If it's any help, I drove home last night (mostly highway) with the windows down and sunroof open. I had the 19 speakers of Mark Levinson pumping, the perfection of the seats and interior illumination, the buttery smooth ride and seemingly endless power, and well... All was right with the world. It was just phenomenal.

Ohh..you drawing a perfect picture ) the only thing I don't like - windows down. I like when it's quiet.
For me S or LS is big dilemma. This is going to be my first big luxury car. I used to have BMW-5 series, E-class, Jaguar S type, but I've never had bigger car. I will go to New Jersey dealers and test drive both of them before making my final decision. Anyway we are lucky to choose from the best cars on market.
