Default Slight burnt rubber smell...

When I park my car after a nice drive I can smell a faint burnt rubber smell (and no it's not the tires from spirited driving). It seems to be coming from the front of the vehicle, but I don't actually smell it in the wheel wells or from the belt area. I think I'm going crazy as I get out and smell it, go to investigate, and it's gone. I open the hood, smell in the grill and nothing. Anyone experiencing this?

Could it be something in the Climate Control System?

Could be the brakes. Seems I read a post about some brake smell and I seem to notice it every now and again after parking the car. Nothing major enough to cause me concern.

Interesting suggestions... Especially the brakes. Hmmm.

i've smelled it too and thought it excessive brake smell, took it to dealer and they said it was normal for big brakes after riding it hard? problem is i've never smelled it b/4 and i've ridden other cars alot harder....then came the nasty sulfur smell, which dealer said was attributable to different gas stations....oh well??

Very helpful. Thanks for the response and helping me feel I'm not crazy... I'll still have it checked out next time I bring it in for an overpriced service.
