I have the side shades on my LS 460L. I don't have the executive package. You can raise and lower either side from the rear. In the front there are two shade buttons, one for both side shades and one for the rear shade.

i don't know about anything after 08 (never bothered to follow anymore), but for 07-08, if you get the rear seats upgrade package, then you get 3 seatings in the back, with powered side shades, suede headliner, semi aniline leather. if you get the lwb i believe you get the laminated glass already anyway
