Default No deals on 2009 AWD?

Trying to find a deal on 09 SWB AWD with Mark Levinson.

Given the car shape changes in October and the current state of the car industry I can't believe the Lexus deals are so weak.

Mercedes is offering ~$9K off several models and 0.9% APR.

Best I've been offered here in Seattle for LS460 SWB AWD MarkLev is $4k off MSRP ( = $70k).

Anyone got any suggestions other than waiting until October and getting a deal on an 09 (or a 2010 if the improvements are worthwhile)?

Just wait for the '10's to hit the lot. No sense in paying nearly full price for something that is going to be outdated in less than a half year.

...thats what I'm doing. You can also try other dealers. See, in your area it differs from say, Washington D.C metro area or say Detroit. It deoends on the market at times when it comes to discounts and most deals are better when a dealer out of your area is able to gain your biz. Shop online and see what prices are offered to you via calling and shopping online for the same vehicle. Dont speak of what you were offered in your area. They'll just go right beneath that offer. I myself purchased a car from The D.C metro area for $4,000 less than what was offered in my metro(VA Beach/Norfolk,VA). My area has 2 Lexus dealers owned by the same company. So you must go 80-90 miles away to get to next dealer.

So, I went online and got a great deal on a LS(2001) best move ever made. Dealers out of area all gave me a better price and were motivated to gain outside the area biz. Again, it depends on market. The D.C market is highly competitive and they know if they dont do a good deal one of the several dealers within 30 miles will. Not to mention Benz,Jag,BMW,Audi and Acura dealers! Be patient in your search. If the car you have now is functional dont rush and wait till 2010's appear. Best deals then locally but, even better outside your local area! Use WISDOM!!! L.G.N.M

Apparently some people think you can get any LS460 brand new after rebates for $55k. That was last week. Should be down to $45k by now.
