Default Touring VS Normal Air Suspension

Wondering how much of a difference the touring version of the air suspension has versus the normal air suspension. Currently drive an 08 GS350. Happy with it, sometimes want a bigger trunk. Drove an LS460L with air suspension at a Lexus event a few months ago. Very impressive from a quietness and smooth ride standpoint. I think the touring version is hard to get (special order?). Is it worth it? Thanks.

touring is not as common but i wouldn't use "rare" to describe its availability.

someone can correct me, but i thought the air suspension is the same between touring and normal. it's just that the touring has thicker sways?

Always wonder about this myself, Lexus call them differently:

Air Suspension Package:

Adaptive Variable Air Suspension (AVS)

Touring Package:

Sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Air Suspension (AVS)

My guess and feeling is all air suspension are the same too, the LS600hL I drove a few weeks ago rides VERY sporty in sport mode. I can't imagine Lexus make it any more sportier on the touring package.

on the other hand it is pretty easy for them to make the touring version a bit more sporty, just in a matter of settings even with the same system

i have driven a lot of 600hl, 460l and 460l touring. to me i don't feel that much difference, at least not enough for me to go wow

Yeah probably just a matter of software programming.
