Ls-f ?
Hey guys ,
I was scrolling the internet and saw some websites claiming that after the success of the IS-F toyota is thinking f expanding their production cars to compete with german sports cars.
http://www.autoblog.com/2008/12/04/l...-include-ls-f/
1 Website mentioned that production will take place in 2010. Regarding the engine it would be the one on the LX-570 V8 , 6 L. The new LS-F will have 552 Horse Power.
Could anyone confirm ?
Similarly GS-F

2010 LS will have a sport kit with brembo brakes only
nothing more than that
but for the GS i don't think the same design will stay untill 2010 or maximum 2011 thats for sure
official announcing is the best thing
wait for it

hey uae, wainak yakhee? long time...
I really really really hope they will make an LS-F, yes the GS one if it ever comes out will come out first, but there will be a market for the LS-F. The s63, Alpina B7 an the Audi S8, all prove that yes people will buy this luxury flagship ***-hauler sedan. Lexus , if ur reading this please please please make this car. just shove a v12 in there and get it over with.

If Lexus made a LS F or is rumored to make one, I would have the first one.......MB has their act together offering the AMG in every model they make, that is why that will be my next car. I really like my LS but it can always be sportier.
IMHO Audi is not a player and why BMW does not offer a M7 is just pain stupid.

^^^^ sides Aplina B7 is better suited for business men/ old farts who want a powerful family hauler, An M7 wont fit in with the M philopshy. but the pt is that BMW does offer a more powerful sportier and more luxurious 7 series model thru alpina.
And i think the market is bigger than you think, Here in the gulf region, an LS-F would sell VERY well. I see tons S63, S65 audi S8 on a daily basis. Im not exaggerating.
Unfortunatly all lexuses (lexis? ) are lacking in the performance department. Such a shame, and a waste in my opinion. I dont know what they were thinking. Hopefully with the new toyota president, things will change.

I agree, if Alpina did a modern 7 it would be a great option.
I have a friend that sent his 7 to Germany to be tuned than tested at Nirenberg Ring. It is by all standards a M7, 500+ HP. I don't remember the shop that did the work but thy work with BMW. Tuners here could not get past the double vanos. If any of you are ex BMW owners here in the North East you probably heard of this car called "Baby".
A large old fart sleeper sedan would bethe ticket for me.....

The LF-A has been nixed according to autoweek due to economy and fact that Toyota lost money for the first time in 70+ years. If there not building the v-10 for that car I can't see them building it at all. I would buy an LS-F in a heartbeat if it really performed, I was #1 on the waitlist to buy the 600h because they said it would perform like the v12's from MB, once it came out and I found out it was slower from 0-60 than a 460 it was a huge let down & I couldn't justify the extra $$$
