Just picked up a new '08 LS 460 with Levinson..love everything about the car but have one question.

I do a lot of long distance driving and listen to books on cd all my trips. Is it possible that the ML system doesnt let you fast forward or rewind a cd in the player? I have tried to find some info and no one seems to know the answer.... you can advance tracks and also discs but there is now way to go back a few seconds and re cue or FF.

any ideas?? help!!!

I use an iPod. It gives you all those kinds of controls you desire and the interface is built into the car. The car DVD player supports WMA and that is something to look into also.

Use the Track up and down buttons, but hold them in to move fast forward and rewind. If you just tap them, they move a track up or down.
