What's a good deal on 460L?
With on the recent bad news on June car sales, I'm surprised that the best deal I can find in so. cal. on a 460L with msrp of about $80k is about $73,400 plus ttl. Can everyone share your purchase price and your thought on whether I should be able to get a better deal? Is there more wiggle room on 460 than 460L? Seems like here in so. cal. all the 460Ls have at least mrsp of $80k. I don't really need all the options, ML, touring, etc.

Sounds like a great deal to me. My dealership doesn't negotiate as much though as the owner owns both of the Lexus dealerships in the area.
I bought mine when the model was new and was able to get $500 off!!!

An MSRP of $80K should have an invoice of around $69K. In the Boston market you could buy the car for $70K if you have good negotiating skills, and a little more if you don't. From what I've read here over the last year though, the SoCal market is a bit tighter so they pay a little more.

I just picked up a new 2008 460L with MSRP $84650 for $76000 + TT in Baltimore MD. I know I could have gotten a much better deal, but the dealership has been very good to me and very accommodating when I had issues with my previous 460L. Good luck in your search.

I got my LS460L for 72,687 -- MSRP was 80,755. No negotiation for this price, I just said another dealer was giving me the same price... This is in SoCal, in June '08. I think you might be able to do better. I think I started too high.
