Pole Position
In the hills of Pittsburgh those tires barely lasted 18,000 miles (I had them on my 2004 LS430). To be fair the Michelins I replaced them with didn't last much longer.

These are my greatest complaints:
1) I can't use access the file list of an MP3 CD when driving, sames goes to telephone and other features.
2)The trunk with the rear seat upgrade is way too small
3) I can't open the trunk from outside if I don't have the key around
4) The car paint gets easily scratched (I don't know how) but I already got 3 scratches under the trunk door and 2 near the front rims.

Not sure which 'key' you mean...
You can extract the metal key from the electronic key (fob), leaving the fob somewhere else and still open the trunk with the metal key through the keyway under the lip.

yeah that's why he said "if I don't have the key around" right?

OK, DUH, ya got me. But there's keys and there's keys, so it wasn't clear to me which key he meant. Lexus does call it an electronic key, though I can't imagine why he'd have one key and not the other, unless he's a forgetful valet.
Maybe he could open the door and push the 'trunk' button?

I'm referring to the card key and the whole remote key fob. I usually have my key around but my passengers don't and why would I want to take out the mechanical key out of the key fob to open the trunk, isn't that even that more troublesome?

Just discovered another think I don't like - trunk opening by anyone
Just discovered that while stopped, with car in gear...ANYONE can walk up behind the car, place their fingers up under the trunk lid and the trunk will open!!
Izzat cool or what??

Um, are you sure that is the case? It might have something to do with your lock/key settings...there is a SmartAccess sensor for the trunk, this requires a keyholder to be in proximity for the trunk to be unlocked--the keyholder can walk up behind the car, place their fingers up under the trunk lid,and the trunk will open. This will not work for anyone IIRC, only the keyholder.

My bad, you're right. I had my wife try it when I was in the car. She said she didn't have her smart key, but turns out she did have it. She has no idea what is in her purses. ;->
I just tried it again and the trunk doesn't open by an un-keyed opener.
Thanks,

...annnd another thing...
I finally found some good used Teleios wheels for my '08 LS460.
I bought some new TPMS's from Sewell thinking I could put them in the new wheels in the TPMS #2 position. I was thinking the '08 LS460 would at least have the same features of my earlier '06 GS430. This was a neat feature that would allow you to run two sets of wheels, like summer tires and snow tires as the season dictated.
I thought if my old '06 GS had them surely the Lexus flagship LS460 would have them...silly me.
It doesn't have this feature. My '06 GS also had a three-position memory seat position switch for the passenger side, too. My new flagship LS460 doesn't...
Boy they really cheaped-out on the '08 LS460!
