Lexus lawyers probably disagree (thus continuing to collect paychecks). Same issues with the ability to use the FOB to open all windows and the sunroof, yet NOT be able to use the FOB for closing them.

If your LS430's trunk lid is hard to open it needs new gas struts. The LS460's trunk mechanism is totally different.

Wait until the power mirror motor stops working. Woodfield Lexus tells me they can't replace the servo motor. You need to buy an entirely new mirror assembly for $1000+. Another example of the over engineered LS430. They also can't remove jammed CDs in the "oh so high quality" Mark leverson CD changer. .... get this... They claim that the entire GPS system with the radio, tape deck and cd changer needs to be replaced @$1000+.
I still love this car but not Lexus dealers.

You need to find an independent mechanic and stop using the dealer.

When you have arms full of groceries or other things, it's nice to just hit the power trunk button and have that trunk wide open to drop the stuff into it. Before I installed my rear spoiler, it would open all the way up when I hit my trunk release. Now because of the extra weight of the spoiler, it just pops ajar and I have to lift the trunk lid up all the way open before I can drop anything into the trunk.
