On my 430 when I turned off the car my mirrors automatically retracted. Now with my 460 I have to actually lock the car to get them to retract. I much prefer immediate retraction (eg in my garage the mirrors close without having to lock car). Any solutions?

No, I much prefer the retraction on lock. Before, when parallel parked, and the mirrors immediately retracted on off, you could not mirror check for any street traffic before you opened the door. Much safer now.

Good point. I like mine to retract on lock too.

Just something cool I figured out today and thought I would share. If you are listening to your iPod and you pause the music, you can resume the music by hitting volume up on your steering wheel!

If you hold down the 'Mode' button on the steering wheel it will turn off the audio system, press the 'Mode' button and it will turn the audio system back on. When doing this if you have a CD playing or music on the hard drive it will pause it and resume play like when an incoming phone call is over.

Yes, If you hold mode it will pause the music if you are listening to digital media but if its radio you are listening to then holding mode will turn off the system. Hitting mode again will turn the system back on to the same mode.

if you want to unlock all doors just by touching drivers door once, you can change it by:

going inside the car, close the door and WITHOUT turning on anything, get your key fob out and HOLD BOTH the Panic and Lock button to cycle through the different modes of unlock. Animation will show which mode of unlock will be selected in the top center instrument display (Standard is unlock only driver door when driver inner door handle is touched) next mode is unlock all doors just by touching driver's inner door handle one time.

in addition to what I posted, I found out it is in the owners manual. Here's another option, as you rotate through the selections, touching Driver's door will unlock Driver's door AND Driver's side rear passenger door. Same setup will unlock all the doors on the passenger side when approaching from the passenger side and touching any door handle from that side.

That's a great tid-bit. I love being able to control how the doors unlock. Thanks for this.

If you hold down unlock on the key fob, it will roll down all windows and retract/open sunroof.
I apologize if this tip was previously posted, I am fairly new to CL
