Where are you shopping? Price seems too high.

Same thing here in MD. You can get a good deal on SWB, but forget it on LWB. No negotiations.

are you kidding? thats an extremely good deal, especially on a base LS460 which is short in supply - only about 10% production of the SWB version. and, yes, you can get a much better deal on a SWB than you can on the L model right now, goes back to the supply issues.

Very nice. Love the interior color though I couldn't have it. I'd be afraid of spills.

I will have to double check. the deal I had on a swb was 1000 over invoice. fully loaded. bought from Germain Lexus in sw florida. they had like 15 2008 LS's. I shipped it to cincinnat. no problems.

No doubt, and I agree, though I can be quite patient.

I heard the same thing on my 05 Dodge Viper new purchase at Employee pricing and my new 07 Vette purchase at GMS.

Our economy is in a recession, the car business is slow and I still have my Ultra to drive around until then.

i think the key is about lexus supply. they seem to do a "good" job in cutting supply to "control" the price. that's what my sales talk to me casually. like recently with the launch of lx570, lexus sees about the economy and they cut the supply big time so the car is selling at very high price

granted, of course, the ls460l is a different story, with more supply out there these days.

to me i think 1500 over invoice is probably a good price to bargain for today. maybe give it another couple of months if economy continues to dive
