Can I use my R-Spec ASC680 from my LS430 on my LS460L?
I sold my LS430ul and have my ASC680 and harness left over. I know the harness will not work, but will the ASC680 with a new harness work? I seen the mod thread and it mentioned a ASC680L, what is the difference between the ASC680 and ASC680L?
If it will work with a new harness who do you recommend that sells the harness?
Thanks in advance
Mike

I believe you can with the correct harness. You just have to choose the right vehicle in setup. I know the ASC680L is specifically for the LS. I will call my buddy and ask him or try calling Carson, they might know.

I confirmed with Data System last night. Unfortunately you need the ASC680L along with the new harness for the new LS460.
rominl is right. the new controller recognized the vehicle and there was no need to select various vehicle like the old ASC680.
We are thinking about running a group buy on this as we have been selling these items as soon as they arrived. Feel free to PM or email us.

Good info, but something I did not want to hear.
Thanks for the heads up on the GB, please pm or email the details when ready as I do not frequent the boards much.
