God damn Mercedes its full of crap i owned a 2 mercedes cars everytime i take them to maintenenace and that is every 2 months i pay around 2,500.00 AED = 680.735 USD its just full of crap and their service isnt that good and over the past 6 years i spent a BIG amount og money i remember 2 weeks before i purchase the LS 460 L i had a hydraulic failure which cost 27,000.00 AED = 7,351.94 USD for an old S 320 ( 2001 ) it was full of crap as for lexus and normal maintenance its around 450.00 AED = 122.532 USD which is really cheap and the car itself lasts so long no matter how u drive it. So for me and after 6 years with mercedes, i would never go again for it. Since lexus is a comeptitive and its maintenenace are a lot way more cheaper than mercedes id stick to lexus. My friends are like common man lexus is full of crap its either mercedes or bmw , they wont understand what theyre saying coz they dont own either when they drive it and see how much money they are throwing away for mercedes and bmw they will really know what is LEXUS

Your experience is shared by many former Mercedes owners who now buy Lexus. I also believe that besides reliability there are other excellent attributes for a Lexus vehicle...greater emphasis on comfort, more intuitive onboard technology and features, etc.

I've owned multiple models of both and Lexus beats MB all the time in everything except performance handling. Reliability is also an issue with MB.

Frankly speaking there this one thing i loved in MB, the handling its still much better than the LS 460 L. Most people dont need that extra grip in handling since they dont have a racing adrenaline in them. So its like this:
-firm ride and handling go for germans.
-For more advanced engineering, quality, comfort, Maintenance and luxury go for a Lexus.
