[Nokia 95 Landmark -> LS 460 L input coordinates] Converter needed
This is a picture taken from my Nokia 95 as you can see
the latitude and longitude is in a different way than it is in the LS 460 L
whereas in the LS 460 L its Degrees Minutes Seconds
So what is the conversion from N95 to the LS 460 L coordinate and vice-versa.
*Purpose of this is to save locations using Nokia 95 since it has a memory of 1 GB and leaving the ls 460 memroy with minimum save locations.Downside for Nokia 95 is:
-Doesnt support reroute.
-Navigation system is not free.
So if i know how to input the numbers in the correct format i will have both features.
Any help would be great.

This site seems to give java applets which will do the conversion

* My friends Home Coordinates from N 95
and this is a screen shot from my mobile 13.9 KM
Next i converted to the desired units
I rounded the values to the neaest tenth, the values i used were:
Decimal Latitude:25 44 54
Decimal Longtitude55 54 55
i input those values in my LS
(13.9 Almost 14) KM
sounds gr8 im going to give it a shot in a few if it works perfect i will have my calculator in my car to do the calculation so if someone knows the math behind the java please post it.

Figured the calculation
25.7482 degree N
55.9152 degree E
Telephone -> Car:
ok ill do calculations for the first one25.7482 degree N, second one is exactly the same
1-first of all there are definitely 25 degrees full degrees.
2-That leaves 0.7482 degrees.
3-How many times can 1/60 go into 0.7482 ? OR What is 60 times 0.7482 ?
4-Answer is 44.892 ,So there are 44 complete minutes with 0.892 of a minute remaining.
5-How many times can 1/60 go into 0.892 ? OR What is 60 times 0.892 ?
6-Answer is 53.52 ,So there are 54 complete Seconds
Final Answer: 25 Degrees 44 Minutes and 54 Seconds input to LS 460 L
Car -> Telephone which i dont need , did it to check if i was on the correct track:
Going the other way round:
25 Degrees 44 Minutes and 54 Seconds
25 + (44*1/60) + (54 *1/60 *1/60 ) = 25.74833333 Latitude
Conclusion:
-Do not round the minutes for instane 20.832 and 20.12 both = 20 <STEP 4>
-Round the seconds if possible to the nearest tenth 50.13= 50 , 50.53 = 51 <STEP 6>
*Directions N,S,W,E are taken from the phone as shown in the above picture.
