Downshift hesitation - still there.
I recently had my first opportunity to test drive an LS460L.
One thing I noticed was that the downshift hesitation that was present in my '99 LS400 AND '03 LS430 was still there.
It occurs when traveling about about 20-40 MPH and you apply medium-strong throttle.
The car hesitates for 1-2 seconds before downshifting as though it were deciding what to do.
This has often caused me to abort a merging attempt.
Is this just me, or do others experience this?
Also, for anyone driving a CVT Lexus, is this an issue with that transmission?
