Great video--actually spot-on in correlating with my own experience. The self-park feature has essentially only one purpose: to demonstrate to friends that you have the feature!

I would say that it functions well about 20% of the time, at most with the other times requiring multiple attempts, screen jiggering, and outright failures.

A few examples: 1) On a city street in parallel park mode, the assist kept placing the green/red box on the grass parkway and when moved to the street remained red 2) On the gentle incline (very, very gentle) of the apron to my garage, the car doesn't generate quite enough momentum and stops, thereby canceling the parking mode.

There are many others, but clearly this is Version 1.0, placed in the vehicle only because the engineers can design the program. I suspect that in a few years we will see a useful version of it, but for now "Self-Park" remains a demo-only function.
