The doors "latch" after you semi close it but the trunk power opens AND closes (there's a button on inside of trunk like the RX).

No it's more than that (I think). The Legend Coupe's deal was you properly close the door and the actuator would pull it tighter to get the door seal around the frameless glass very tight. The LS (and other vehicles) let you just get the door 'lightly closed' (latch engaged but door not closed - like you didn't close the door properly) and then it will pull it in. At least that's how I think it works.

Can anyone chime in on if the RES will be offered on swb or do i absolutely have to have the executive option to have that.

For America, you need to get the LWB with the 4-seat executive package to get the RSES.

its part of the power package right? and apperantly it will be delivered in packaged commonly sold... (ie not if you special order base)

Actually, on the LS460L, there is an option that closes the rear doors much like the RX tail gate. Saves the rear passengers from reaching so far to close the doors. I don't think it also opens the door, but I'm not sure.

ah, very interesting, so the top of the line loaded ls460l is going to be around 91k? hahhaa, so that's freaking 2k less than what rumored
