This may be a joke to you, but can be offensive to others.

Stop making the retarded "US is superior to everybody else" jokes and keep your comments on topic please.

Wow, take it easy buddy, thats why I put a smiley there.
Besides I was born in Toronto and lived there for quite a
few years.

Its just I feel Canada doesnt promote entrepreneurs as
well as they could.

Are you a mod? No. Don't spit fuel on the fire and report the post if you have a thin ski... feel offended.

Let’s go back to the topic at hand, and leave the personal bickering out of this.

However, your post is about as ignorant as ever. The SC430 is no where in the leauge of a Roush Stage 3 Mustang ... much less a stock Mustang... and that extends throughout you're entire post.

I hope your were joking.

Read my initial post sparking this.

Sometimes you guys are so caught up in blind brand loyalty I feel sorry for you guys. Each and every car on the market has it's pros and cons.
I think people buy these cars for different reasons. It is great to have so many choices. I like Lexus but have owned other brands, Porsches, Mercedes, Z's, vettes, NSX, etc. Now older I want comfort and I appreciate quality and dependablity more then raw power and speed. Different strokes. Looks like you are lucky enough to have a bunch of fine vehicles that provide a lot of different driving experiences.

Very well said.
I was merely commenting on how the S600 in 2003 came with a V12 5.5L twin turbo which produced 590lb-ft torque. That's an amazing amount of power which results in an ultra smooth acceleration.

I'm not sure how the 'high strung' LS460 (not 100hp/liter, but higher than the ratio of 382hp on the 5.5L of the S550) will be nor the LS600lh.

I wish these cars were out already, and I hope a factory turbo kit alsoc omes out

I would swap an ls6 any day instead of this. Cheaper, smaller, ligher, VERY fuel efficient and has a lot more torque. Make some mods, heads, cam, supercharger which are all available and you have one mean machine.

If this engine wears out (98) which i pretty much doubt or if i get another can and can fiddle with this one. That swap will be in this ls with a manual tranny.. but then again.. why do this if i can buy a used CTS-v which has what i want factory and looks meaner?

Default Engine swap technical question.

Hi Members,

Can anyone tell me precisely if I can install a 1UR-FSE 4.6 liter V8 engine of a Lexus 460 in my 1972 Mercedes 450SL ?

I am not worried about the mountings so much as I know those can be modified to hold the engine BUT what I am most worried about is it's size may be a couple of inches wide on the side to fit inside the 450SL.

Also if the above can be done, then can I also add 2 turbochargers to the engine ?

Thanks a lot for the answer.

Best regards.

I would refer you to www.ih8mud.com they are more tech on that site and do some more extreme builds.
