Thanks Liz !!
for posting this for us There are a couple words on the color chart I can't see clearly though, even after enlarging your image.
Right now, I can see from the enlarged image below :
smoky granite mica, mercury metallic, opaline pearl, verdi?? mica
obsidian, golden almond metallic, heirloom pearl
noble spinel(?) mica, black opal, black sapphire pearl, truffle mica
If you don't mind Liz, can you point out my mistakes above & spell out the correct words ?
Do you know exactly the name of the color on the greyish SWB LS460 which CL members saw in person in the Toyota Museum ? I'm trying to pick my color already

I checked the other Lexus medels, and it seems to me that all the colors are new to Lexus except Mercury Metallic and Smoky Granite Mica. Anyone have a picture of the Smoky Granite Mica from a previous car (IS or SC)?

Thx for the scans AsianGirl007!!!
It seems Lexus has discontinued several LS colors, such as Cypress Pearl. And of course names have changed...so some colors may still be there in a similar form.

Thanks Liz.
After looking some words up, Verdigris means bluish green, Noble Spinel Mica is probably a dark ruby red, & Truffle Mica a brownish grey ?
The others are quite obvious . . .

Looks like the standard wood trims are different too. The dark bird's eye maple hearkens back to the launch of the LS 430. Perhaps the golden bird's eye maple or antique walnut will be available under a different package. Or black wood.

LOL....I thought I was going blind trying to strain my eyes on the color chart. Thank goodness you guys are paying attention for me. I looked more closely and it appears Vedrigris is a dark green with sparkly mica in them, so the preview car was indeed Smoky Granite.
Noble Spinel is a very dark red with sparkly mica in it and Truffle is a very dark brown with sparkly mica too.
Yes it appears they have evolved from previous colors into the next generation.
After seeing the new sleek body design and seeing these colors I think Lexus has a winner on their hands. Not one bad color here.
