I saw the new 600h yesterday as well and the camera cannot pic up the true beauty of this color. Its a rediculously nice color.

So the LS600hL comes with adaptive variable air suspension as standard. I assume you can have that as an option for the LS460 too ?

My answer would be "not necessarily". Remember that with the 01-03 LS430 models, you were required to purchase the "Ultra Luxury" Package to get Air Suspension. I have a sour feeling in my stomach that tells me we might be required to purchase the top-of-the-line LS600hL to gain access to AWD, Air Suspension and other great features. I don't think they will be options. Just my opinion based on the past.

Yes that's true, Lexus tends to be "package happy", grouping options together so you have to buy it all to get one option you really really want.
Although personally I think the lexus ride is so smooth already that I could only feel the air suspension going faster than 60 mph. Reminds me of the old children's fairy tail "The Princess and the Pea", I'm so amazed by the LS to begin with it's hard to notice something that subtle.

In the past, even a SWB LS430 have a UL version with air suspension, I think they should offer a LS460UL too with the new adaptive variable air suspension, well at least for the LWB version, otherwise I won't be too happy about it. The LS600hL is an awesome car & certainly very tempting, but I still have doubts whether I should go for it. My ideal combination would be a LS460L UL with the air suspension & 4 seat configration, AWD I can actually do without . . .
