Default Bye-bye 2007, hello 2014

Broke down today and traded in my 2007 ls460 for a 2014. Nothing wrong with the 07 but it had a couple of niggling issues that were getting tiresome. Wind noise - not the inherent kind noted for the early models but rather lack of sealing between the window track and the glass. Add to that the sticky door panels which the jerks at Lexus wouldn't tale care of under the known warranty enhancement, and that was enough. The Platinum warranty runs out at the end of next month, too.

So, silver 2014 with grey interior, alcantra/aniline, ML, heated steering wheel, self closing doors and trunk, comfort and all weather packs, blind spot monitor, 19" wheels, LED headlamps and a couple more of the usual addons. 25000 miles and CPO. The rear bumper and spare are scratched up so they are going to refinish those.

Thought the 07 would be my last car but hopefully this one will!

Congrats on the new car, Keith! Sounds awesome. Is it AWD? I am guessing $46K. And like they say, no pics or it didn't happen

Did you buy the 2007 LS new? If not, how long did you own it, and how many miles did you put on it?

Nah, a little more than that..... $49900. That's a pretty good deal on low mile CPO cars in the area (mostly in the mid to high 50s around here). And they gave me an ok deal on the trade (older LS cars just aren't selling - lots of inventory of 07s). RWD - not AWD.

Got my 07 in 2014 after giving my son my 08 IS250. Drove the 07 for 3 years and now ready for something newer.

Pics to come when I get home tonight .

Cool! I just got my 2014 CPO with AWD, ML, Blind spot, 19" wheels, Ultra White with Parchment, at Lexus of Spokane for $47995 and they removed the pinstripes and had it delivered to me in the Seattle area, 29k miles. I think under $50k is a great price for a CPO 2014 LS460 especially since it was $80k+ brand new so the depreciation hit already. It probably depends on your market area as there is one in Bellevue, WA (Lexus Dealership) for sale right now for $5k more than I paid for the exact same car (only difference is Starfire Pearl)! Enjoy!!

Congrats!! I have a 2010 460 and its great automobile and I have no complaints. My nephew purchased a 2014 LS and I would say its much smoother, quieter, and more features. So drive and enjoy your 460.

OK, here goes:

Interesting is the passenger seat memory and the nice stitched leather steering wheel hub (OK, so I'm a little weird!)

Very nice photos, Keith! Great contrast between the light leather and the dark wood grain. Enjoy and safe travels!

Wow! Congratulations on the new Lexus. If I had the option on color of interior, this would have been my choice.

Many happy and safe miles.
