Dropped off my LS and here are some pics I took this morning. Will get it back tomorrow. Got a nice 2017 RX as a loaner. Love the big display screen.

You are the first person I've read about that owns an L stating that they had an issue with the door panels.
What issues are you dealing with regarding the panels, as the L has semi-aniline...??
Leather cracking and/or deteriorating? Photos?

I had problems with my 2010 LWB. Panels felt like they were melting and always sticky. Lexus replaced both the driver and passenger. Had only 34k give or take miles when I got it replaced.

I see that in your signature, it's displays that you have an L model. I was hoping to see a photo of your door panel as well as the lower portion of your b-pillar.
As I stated previously, and Robb addressed it, was I wasn't aware that s/a leather was "melting", as I had assumed s/a was an automatic upgrade when stepping up to the L model, but apparently Robb has an L model that does not have s/a leather and did experience the melting issue.
I'm posting a few photos of my door panel and lower b-pillar.

I posted my new B pillars a few weeks ago. Its still floating below. My door panels are good. Leather arm rest. No issues with them unless you count the upper portion the black section that can get a bit shiny. My windows are tinted enough its not horrible And only on the front most section near the dash. Its just enough where the sun thru the windshield hits it.

The dash is in. Here are the new photos. Now the glove box and center console did not get swapped. The glove box was changed a few years ago and its not bad the center console at the rear is a little tacky. The dealership is looking into that for now. But sure is nice to have a clean dash. Just hope its last till its time to trade up.

The door picture is just to show my arm is leather padded. Its clean.
