Default My LS is down a tenth in the 1/4 mile!

Well guys - I felt like mentioning this. My car is now a tenth of a second quicker in the 1/4 mile, after some efforts I've made. I'm hoping to drop it by one more tenth as well.

My secret?

Shedding 0.03 tons of weight. That weight reduction came from "my person!" That's a lot of tonnage. My person appreciates it. Once I reached the size that my body weight began affecting the tides, I began considering "my person's" weight in TONS!

Considering my weight in tons was not fun. And, since my tonnage is down, I'm going back pounds. I've lost 60 pounds! And I'm going to lose at least another 40. Hopefully another 60, for a total of 120 pounds down, or 0.06 tons!

I feel better. I'm doing very low carbs. It has been amazing. Very very little exercise. It hurt too much to jog when I was at maximum L.A. You know what L.A. stands for! I did run some just before the time changed, and will again when it changes back in March. I could run so much better after dropping 40 to 50 pounds. The diet is like eating like a caveman. Whomp an animal (optionally place it over a flame), eat it. Trip over a vegetable, pull it out of the ground, eat it. Add butter to any and everything (if I want to, do this very little). No soda, bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, junk food, tater chips, chocolate. I did a blood test after starting this diet. My blood sugar was just under the normal range, but not in a dangerous range.

Prior to this diet, I would have 2 to 5 bad headaches a week. The best thing about this diet is that, on this diet, I GET NO HEADACHES! THEY'RE GONE! I have learned, that the blood sugar swings (mainly drops in blood sugar from having not eaten in a while) is what was leading to the headaches. But now that my blood sugar levels remain more constant (low), the headaches are gone. And now, I stick to low carb foods, I remain in ketosis, and part of the day I just feel a bit hungry.

It's not the same level of hunger either. It's just a feeling. Where as before when I would get hungry, I would tear into the kitchen and EVERYTHING BUT THE TABLE. Back then, when I was hungry, if I could have taken a bite out of crime, there'd be world peace! But now, I just feel hungry, and can walk right on by. My energy level has been up since I first had the ketosis flu. The only thing I really crave is chocolate. But I'm resisting pretty well.

So that's it. That's my way of reducing my LS's quarter mile times. And actually, dropping 60 pounds from an LS would result in more like a drop of 0.06 seconds. But 0.1 seconds reads better!

LOL, very entertaining and innovative way to reduce 1/4 mile times! But watch it, if you continue like this, there soon won't be any Jason left to enjoy that beautiful car of yours . Variety is the spice of life, so indulge in those carbs once in a while...

His post is about his weight loss. He's not actually quarter miling his LS.

Congrats by the way, Oliver.
