Glad all of you are ok. The LS is full of safety features and built like a tank.

What the heck happened? Glad no loss of life and hope no long-term bodily injuries of any sort. I wonder what the front of the other car looks like.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, yes I won't get into specifics just yet but I will say the car is built like a tank, the left side is scraped front to back, broken front control arms, rims, bumper, doors almost welded themselves bc of the heat, headlight all toast, was very bad, I'd never wish this on anyone.

So glad you and yours are ok. Had a similar experience in my prior 2005 LS430 UL that I am quite confident had it been in an entry level vehicle would have decidedly involved a hospital visit.
Now comes the fun part. What are you thinking about replacing it with?

Wow... Really, really glad to hear that everyone is ok. That indeed is the most important thing.

Now, this isn't to take away from the importance of the well being of you and the loved others who were in the vehicle with you, but in looking at the photo you posted, along with other photos I recollect seeing...460's which have been rear-ended, t-boned, and involved in head-on/side impact collisions, I notice that the integrity of the cabin area seems to always be uncompromised.

It just seems that the engineered crumple zones in these cars, particularly the front and rear, when they are needed, work very, very well.

Again, im glad you and all others are okay.

Hi, that's a horrible accident. It's indeed a relief and comfort to hear that all occupants came thru OK. None of us ever wants to find out how well these cars are designed to protect occupants in accidents like this, but it does remind us that we are driving a safe vehicle. And to hug and kiss our loved ones daily. If possible, please share any pics of the left side as the vehicle appears to have borne the brunt of the crash on the rear and subsequently the driver's side. Thank you.

I wish you and your family the very best as you recover from this traumatic experience.

Wow, sorry to hear about the accident. It looks like this was a recent acquisition, too. I'm glad everyone seems OK, but, if you haven't already done so, have everyone examined by a physician. Injuries, especially soft tissue ones, don't always manifest themselves right away.
