Default 2011 Brake Noise

I'm getting a little clicking sound when applying the brake pedal. It's been there since I purchased the car used 3 years ago but I could not get it to duplicate when I took the car to the dealer. Anyway, it seems to be getting more pronounced and appears to be coming from the inside of the car behind the dash. The brakes operate normally. Anyone have this?

It's not uncommon. Most likely due to the calipers sliding and clicking on the slide pins. Cleaning and lubing with get rid of it for a while but it will most likely come back. Alternatively, it could be a bad brake actuator which may or may not be covered by a "warranty enhancement".

Thanks...I really think the noise is inside the car under the dash.

sounds to me to be more like the brake actuator. A well-known issue. Browse this forum. Dealer might actually replace it under warranty

I have the same issue with my new purchase ls460 2007 i went to west side lexus dealer for regular maintenance of 93000 miles cost me $680
i told them about the break sound and the actuator warranty issue
they told me they can not replace it unless there will be an error code in the computer
in my case there is no any error code but only noise under the dashboard when i press break they refused to change it
I will give them call tomorrow hope they will do something
