Default Vaistech Ivic 5d - 2007 LS460L w/self park

So I just bought a iVIC 5D, i've wired everything up and it seems to be working fine. However I was under the impression that the back up camera would be working as I have the self park feature in my car. The back up camera works just fine when the unit is programmed to mode 1, but the functionality of the ivic is lost. When it's out into the PA mode, functionality is there but back-up cam is lost, it goes to a blank screen when in reverse. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to upgrade the firmware? Any help would be appreciated.

**i am able to select the factory camera as a source, when I click on it, the ivic makes a "clicking" sound as it tries to transition into the cam but comes right back to the source screen.

Just talked to vaistech and they said they can't help with this issue....Anyone else experience this and/or have a work around without having to hardwire the camera into the unit?

... Vais states, that self-parking vehicles are NOT SUPPORTED.
BTW, i have something installed in my car. It's something i cant even googel.
It:
makes dvd unblocked while moving,
satnav STILL WORKS!,
it got aux input hooked up to dtv tuner,
it is controlled via steering wheel's buttons.
Way better than ANYTHING advertised/used by lexus community. Prestigious society - eat your socks.

I will at some point figure out what do i have installed indeed. I have '10 lwb awd with self/park.

Default I'm interested

My Prestigious Society died a few months back. Whole Nav system went black and nothing worked. Once I took the PS out, everything worked again. Quite a scare. Wiring on PS looked good.

That's weird everything works perfect on my LS, sans the gray lines when booting up. Maybe the unit is defective, is it new or used?

I thought the requirement to run the ivic was that it needed self park.

I guess it depends if you have a 07-09 or a 10-12. I have an 09 with self parking, nav and ML, I think that was the requirements for the 07-09.

some places say it supports the LS460 with self park and some say it doesn't. Weird, i just bit the bullet and ordered a Vline.

I think it was because they couldn't or didn't want to get rid of the gray line problems. Member Cjitty has youtube video running an IVIC on his LS, he even did a tutorial where you could use Chromecast to wireless stream from your phone, due to MHL incompatibility. I really think the module is defective.
