This shows the general direction for the next LS: lower, more angular, very organic, far more upscale inside. And we can be pretty sure this iteration of the 5.0 V8 is the one that will see duty in the LS.

After seeing this car I'll be shocked if the next LS starts under $85k.

It's very nice.

I looked closely at the spindle grill and they changed it ever so modestly.

The overhangs across the waist or narrow section is much more flatter than on our cars. There's a lip around the waist that sticks a lot, whereas on this grill it's much more flush. It's actually not much of change, but to me it is. I like it a lot more. For some reason that waist extension makes it look much different. A subtle change for the better!

As I used it above, I'd translate it to mean "the character of the car is derived from the shape itself rather than from extensive detail work." Quite a change from earlier spindle-grill cars, especially the ones where it was grafted on later and the awful new RX.
