Default HELP! Rear center armrest cover broke.....

Hi,

The rear center armrest cover (lid) broke (the whole hinge) in my 2008 LS600hL Actually I noticed when I bought this vehicle used but I thought it would not be a big issue until I phoned around Lexus dealers in town and the repair cost would be CAD$5000....

I also found the parts online (http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/l...-50B90-C1.html) But I don't know if I am capable of installing it.

Please advise if there's any other way around it to fix it?

Thank you so much in advance!

$250!? That would be wonderful! I will check it out on eBay and see if I could find one. The interior of my car is black. But I don't know how to take the old one off. Anybody here knows how?

I bought a whole center arm rest for $150 and just swapped out the hinge. This left me with a good upper arm rest cover and the lower portion to resell. You just have to look around for it. Here's one for $200.

Thanks Pistachio! That one looks exactly like mine only mine is black. I don't know if it has the heated/cooled seat **** inside the cubby but if I could switch the hinge of it. That's all I need! Thank you so much! I will probably buy it off and figure out how to swap them!

Cheers!

Once you remove your center armrest, it's easy to see what you need to swap. Basically the whole inner tray is attached to the hinge. You just need to swap that and you're done.

I believe ebay has a service were the seller can ship in the US and they can then turn around and ship it to you. This listing has been on there for quite sometime, I bet the seller will work with you. Good luck!

Really!? I am not really an online buyer but I'm learning to be one. It seems online buying experience is better than I thought. I actually found this one instead and gave my best offer. Hopefully it goes well.
