Does anyone have any thoughts on how to program the HomeLink Garage Buttons to a LiftMaster 8500 Opener. I'm sure there is a way to do it, but I'm having issues with every method I've tried.

Yes, I done the reset.
Yes, I've tried to hold both the HomeLink Button at the same time as my hand held remote opener, but the light doesn't blink faster than the slow blink.

Tried to hit to Learn Button and then hit the HomeLink buttons and still no luck!

Help... I'm sure I'm not the 1st with this issue!

I have a Lift Master and had no problems programming....... I had to press the learn button two times.
After you hit learn button did you press the Homelink button right away?

I had a problem programming my Homelink on my Dodge Charger so I called the Home Link "help line" and they walked me through it.

I have a 2007 460L and a Liftmaster 8550. Needed to get the Homelink Repeater Kit. You may have the same issue. Contact Liftmaster and inquire, I forget what I paid but it was cheap.

I've even read that lift master was giving those kits away...but I cannot confirm. But yes, call lift master. Should be able to get it taken care of either way.
