Does anyone know if a newer year 2010+ back up camera be plug and play on an 07 LS?

I've noticed the camera on my wife's 2010 RX is much clearer/sharper than the one on my 07 LS. Curious if one could simply swap out the cameras...whether it is from the RX or a newer LS that maybe has a better camera.

Thoughts?

I think the issue may be also the screen in the dash being a lower resolution than the newer models as well.

I've asked my dealer exactly the same question as I also have an RX350 with a way better camera than the LS ...he says it wont work as its not compatible
