to me the 2013+ looks noticeably better than the 07-12. beefier and more presence

My opinion is that the front end looks terrible. I will hold on to my 2012 until the front end is redesigned.

i'm with you on this! the car went way to agressive... i mean the "regular" grill could have been saved for the FSport and everybody would have been happy. just saying.

The 2013 model just isn't up to par and appears incomplete with the spindle grille and I'm not impressed with the interior. I like the '07 - '12 model much better. Can't wait to see what the next generation will look like.

Same can be said for the instrument panel layout. Some owners love the 2007-2012 design. Some love the 2013-2015 design more.

Well you will have to hang on to that 2012 for a very very long time because that grill you hate so much will be Lexus corporate face for a very very long time. In fact the new generation LS coming soon will go full predator this time around. So you should get use to it if you want another LS ten or more years from now you would have to live with it.
