2010 ls 460
Just had Toyota do a drain and fill on my 70,000 mile transmission. The bill was for 4 qts. and two washers/gaskets. Total of $123.17, $60/labor and $52.54 parts. I had them collect 4 oz of the fluid so I can send it off to Blackstone Labs for analysis. Pretty dark looking. I'll post my analysis when available. I think that even if the analysis comes back fine, I'll do two more drain and fills to have "fresher" fluid.
The Toyota dealer in Ocala has a gourmet chef lunch counter. Today they served fresh Maine lobster salad on a toasted hot dog bun with a side for $12.95. I'll be stopping in for lunch more often

I have a 2010 LS 460 and just turned 100,000 miles. Have previously owned 2 LS 430's. Traded the first with 366,000 miles and the second 361,000.
Always ran Mobil 1 full synthetic and changed it every 10,000. No issues at all.
I did always change all the fluids every 100,000 miles as well as replaced the timing belt.
This new LS 460 is a timing chain. I'm being told that you MUST change the oil every 6500 miles because gunk will build up on the chains.
Any thoughts or suggestions??

102,000 miles...
All recalls done.
Brakes replaced at 50k and 100k. Coolant and transmission fluid changes at 70k. And two sets of tires. Rear ended fluid changed at 70k. That's it, not bad for 100k miles. Oh and one headlight bulb ($70.00 for two on eBay).
I probably need to consider changing the spark plugs and air filters (I imagine the filters have been replaced once, at least I hope so).

2014 ls460l executive seating
I brought a 2014 LS460L with executive seating. With 100miles on it. Took it to dealer due to it leaning on left side. Was told I had to replace front an rear air shocks. They said it was leaking. Smh. Can someone help me with any other options to fix the problem. The dealer is asking for 5100 to replace both shocks an alignment. Help. Lol

About six months ago I bought a 2007 base model LS460. The first owner had lot of the usual things fixed by a Lexus dealer - the Mark Levinson Amp, all the control arms, valve spring recall, brake actuator, trans fluid changed at 75K miles, front window wind noise fixed. The last owner put new tires on it and a new battery just before I bought it with 99K miles.
It runs great, but I immediately had the oil changed at my local Toyota dealer. I changed all three air filters. Then I had my favorite independent shop check the trans fluid (it was fine), replace the coolant and replace the rear differential oil. I put some silicone grease on some of the door weatherstripping to reduce occasional wind noise and I should probably replace the weatherstripping of the sunroof, but I don't use it so it's not a big priority. I decided to run the tires at 36 psi cold to help sharpen the handling a little. I think I'm over 103k miles now. Hoping to take it on some long road trips before the travel season is over.
The only thing I know of that isn't working right is the driver's side mirror which doesn't fold in when parking and I couldn't care less about that. I'm not sure about the front seat cooling, but will post a query in a different thread.
I kept my base model 2006 Sienna to use as my daily driver. I like the higher seating position and huge windshield for urban driving. It still runs perfectly with 190k miles and has more precise handling than the plush-riding LS460. I've been using Mobil 1 in the Sienna with changes exactly every 10,000 miles and it still uses no oil at all. I will be doing the same with the LS460, but I won't be changing it myself - not enough room under there for my old body!

2007 Ls460 with 265000 miles/425,000 km. Other than tires, brakes and wiper blades, my total repairs include 1 battery, front right and left wheel bearings.
Other than that, oil changes at 10,000 km. Just as good and reliable as my LS400 1995.
