And it won't start if you try to jump start it? That's the easiest way to figure out what's wrong.

Start with replacing the battery first, when the LS460 battery dies it gives no warning it just dies.

I agree, at least get it tested. When a battery shorts it will set off a lot of false warning lights.

Sounds more like a bad starter, since the car does not start with a jump (or even turn over).

I would check the vehicle in this order.
1. Battery
2. Starter switch
3. Cam shaft

Good luck!

Default I had to replace the starter

Started and pulled out of my driveway, forgot something, ran back into the house and it would not start again. Lights and all but no cranking. No warning of a starter fail, it just quit. Dealer truck came out and was unable to start it. Had to put it on a flat bed to the dealer who replaced the starter. Covered by my extended warranty.

On another note, has anyone done a DIY starter replacement on a 460? I saw a few on the 430, but none for the 460. Looks like a big job! yikes
