100mph....only 3,000 rpm...pure velvet
Escaped Covid isolation yesterday.....turned on heated seats, steering wheel....amped up the ML....took the LS on the highway....just to feel it confidently quietly hit100mph....picked up great chocolate croissants and coffee....life is good...Lexus is great

Someone: "Why were you going 100mph!!, there are families traveling on the roads. Obey the speed limit.!!"
You: "It was on an open highway with no traffic and a straightaway."
Someone: "This is not acceptable!! You could have killed someone"
Yeah going 100mph is pretty stress free. My old 2008 LS460 rwd felt pretty planted at high speeds. A radar detector is a must.
It was also quiet doing the triangle window trim upgrade, silicone paste treatment on all the door seals

Never forget the time my wife and I were driving back from Birmingham on a Sunday. It was open highway as far as the eye could see with no visible cars or exits for miles. My wife had her eyes closed as I slowly crept up the speedometer on my 08 LS460. When I got it up to 115, my wife turned to me with one eye open and said, "Ok, how fast are you going?" lol. I laugh about it still.
